Just wanted to say thanks to everyone at Peckover for making my 7 years soooo wonderful. I have learnt so much, had so m uch fun and have met and made friends with some great friends who I hope to keep in touch with even though I miss them sooooo much!!! Thankyou all again!! I am settling into Peele OK but I will always miss Peckover because of its wonderful pupils and wonderful staff. It means so much to me!! I especially loved my last fab year!!!!!! :-)

Reading my comment back makes me feel sad! LOL! MHS is so awesome! Made some new friends, learnt my way around...sort of!, have had some great lessons and realised I can get free lessons for singing and piano!

Hi everyone... Can't belive i'm going to MHS on Monday... SCARY! LOL! Sort off looking foward to it, but i'm missing all my friends, Mr Harvey and Mrs Norman sooooooo much. I hope Mrs Norman is ok and whoever reads this message please tell Mrs Norman I am missing her and i'll never forget the way she helped me improve all of my subjects in school. I'm sure it will help me in the future. You know, I dropped my brother Tyler off to school today, (he's now in year 1!), and I saw some of my friends and some of the teachers. Just walking into the school made me feel sad, but when I saw everyone I knew, I felt really very sad. I would give anything to go back to Peckover, but you can't stay in Primary school forever...... :(

I was sorting out some old things and found my last whole school photograph before I left to move up north. The last year I was at Peckover was when the Year 6's who have just finished were in my Yr 1 class before I went on maternity to have Morgan.

Apart from making me feel really old, I am really pleased to see you enjoyed you school life at Peckover. Good luck in your secondary schools.

Morgan and I are good and send our love to everyone. Morgan is going into Yr 1 next week, he is growing up fast.

omg the summer holidays have gone SOOOOOOO quickly!!! only bout 2 weeks till i go 2 tccc!!! scary!!!

I will miss you all. The time has gone by so fast. A big thank you to Mrs Norman for making Year 6 and the leavers play so brilliant and the TA's and Mrs Norman helped me get such good SAT results. I would give anything to go back to Peckover and see my friends and teachers all again... I will miss you greatly. Mr Harvey was awesome too. Thank you also for the wonderful positive comments about my part as Nancy. I did my best and hope I made Oliver Twist great for you to watch. I think we all did extremally well. Liam: You are awesome... Keep up with the singing. You have a hidden talent. Joe: You learnt your lines well, considering you had been on holiday and you played Doger extremally well. Charlotte: You learnt your lines extra fast and went from a super-sub to an awesome Oliver. Everybody else was brilliant and made our play possible. Thank you again. Fully agree with Tina's comments. Congratulations to Year 6 on your fantastic performance. It was excellent and Chloe, you are a little star in the making. You should all be very proud, it was an excellent show.

I also enjoyed the two recent trips - Church Farm with Reception and Hinchingbrook Park with Years 1 and 2. All children were very well-behaved and a credit to the school.

WOW !!! Year 6 your production of Oliver was fantastic you should all be very proud of yourselves. Everyone looked as though they were having a fab time. Chloe well done on your solo singing- excellent, Liam - brilliant as Fagin so funny and entertaining and Joe well, Dodger you are indeed. Good luck to you all at high school.

Also thanks to the Year 1 children I accompanied to Hinchingbrooke Park last week I had a great time, even if we did get slightly wet.

Marshland is SO cool!!! But now, coming back to Peckover, I've realised how much i'm going to be missing and how different Marshland, (or all secondary school's), are. I'm going to miss all of my friends that aren't going to Marshland, miss all of the teachers, miss just having one teacher. miss doing the Christmas plays, miss the break times i've spent with the closest people in my life and SO MUCH... It's going to be hard and Peckover will never be forgotten, even though we will no longer go there... :( XXX

hey people at peckover, I just want to say that i had the best time while i was there on placement and i loved every second of it.. peckover is the sort of school i would love to work in as a full time job.. they are so welcoming there and they treated me as another member of staff and not a student while i was there!!

I'm SO dreading the leavers assembly!!!!!!! Why do I have to leave!!!!!!!???????? Me and Klaudia the other day were thinking: We'll never see this hall again... Never stand on that stage again... Never sit on the benches again.... Never set foot on the KS2 playground ever again.... Never see our friends we're leaving again everyday.... Never see Mr Harvey, Mrs Slater, Mrs Cross, or Mrs Norman again... Never sit at the school's tables EVER again... Never EVER walk through the gates again...... Never see our Y5 friends again... Never set foot in the school again!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so worried about high school. I am so happy the Easter Holidays are here, i mean i need a break from school! It's the first day of the holidays and i already have billions of gossip. See you soon.

Just wanted to say what a wonderful afternoon I had yesterday at the Cross Country Event at St Neots. The Year 5 and 6 pupils who participated ran their little hearts out! It was a pleasure to see the team-spirit and encouragement they all gave each other. They were also ably coached by Mrs Kett and Mrs Constant who also gave the children lots of encouragement. The children should be very proud of their achievement and the fact that they represented their school at such a big event. I look forward to next year.....!

The other night, i was lying in bed trying to imagine my dorm. I could see every one around me and the wardrobe and our beds, exactly how everything was. But then i felt so sad, i had to stop thinking about it. Then, i started thinking about all the things we did and wished i could do them all again. Reminding myself about the place where we went and did our beetle drive and met most mornings made me so upset. I wanted to touch the carpet again, and climb the rock climbing wall. And most of all, i wanted to see all of the staff again. I'd give or do anything to see them all again. I miss Skippy, Shrek, Tinkerbell and all the others and especially Fungus. The second from last day at Almerton when we walked miles on the beach, he talked to me, helped me reconise different semi-precious stones and kept us happy where ever we went and helpfully took our mind off things, especially about having to walk so many miles back to the bus and...to miyah man... He made our first day SO special and made us fit in and get us started for all of the days ahead of us, although the toughest part, even tougher than walking so many miles was...LEAVING... I never would have thought leaving some where could EVER HAVE BEEN SO HARD!!! :)

Alymerton was amazing i had so much fun and the meals where great i didn't think we'd get a 3 course meal at dinner, a 2 course meal 4 breakfast and alright lunch the rolls weren't all that because they either had cheese or ham and lettece. I really miss being able to eat as many sweets as i want in the morning, THAT was sweet. Also i really miss shrek, miah man, eagle eye, skippy, fungus. it was wickard!

A great BIG THANK-YOU to all the Year 6's that went to Aylmerton Field Study Centre. I had the most amazing time with you all and didn't want to come home. I'm sure many of us returned to Wisbech with lots of memories. I have given Mrs Lenton a disc with all my photos taken over the four days and have kindly asked if she can add them to the website (this may take some time- she is a very busy lady!). My favourite activity was the twilight walk in the dark (I'm actually scared of the dark), the frogs leaping around all over the place, certainly made it more interesting! Thanks personally to the all the girls in my dorm, that slept like babies all night (peacefully) LOL! A big thank-you also to Mr Harvey, Mrs Kendal and Mrs Kett, who were so much fun to be around. Year 6 you are all FANTASTIC!!!!

Me...again!!! Just to say thank you to every one of the teachers that gave up their time to provoide us Y6's with the best residential trip we'll ever go on...EVER!!! It would never have been possible, or such a wonderful experiance without them all. They all made my time their fantastic and i think if they weren't there, the trip wouldn't have been as good. They all were cheerful and made good conversations, not metioning keeping us busy so as to make us not think of home and become TOO homesick. Again, i can't thank them all enough. However, none of the trip would even have been possible if it wasn't for Mr Harvey. Thank you like a million times!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :-P

Just dropping by to see whats changed to peckover since i was there 1998 - 2005 gosh seems so long ago, i see alot of teachers have left since i was last there. Im in year 10 now and getting ready to leave school.

Hi!! Alymerton was so much fun and was an amazing school trip! The leaders were all great, the food and the dorms were all great too!! Thankyou SO much to Mr Harvey, Mrs Kendal, Mrs Bailey and Mrs Kett who gave up their weekend to take the Y6's away. I am still buzzing with the excitement of the trip!! Although, I am STILL really tired!!!

I AND MY CLASSMATES HAVE COME HOME FROM ALMERTON FIELD STUDY CENTRE-THE RESIDENTIAL Y6 TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't wanna leave but it was one of the funnest places i've ever been to and one of the best experiances ever. It brought us all so much closer together, what with all the encouragment given on the pirate day we had!!!

I would just like to wish Edward, William, Daisy and James luck for Sunday as they have been entered in a contest for their fantastic little band. We have also recently celebrated our two year birthday. This meant chocolate cake for everyone =]=]=]. I would just like to say how much I enjoyed the trip to Wisbech Castle today with Purple Class. As usual, the children were very well-behaved and they all seemed to enjoy being Victorian servant!

Hello Peckover! I am an ex-Peckover pupil and daughter of Mrs Howe in the office. I am also a science teacher and am very impressed with your science club webpage.
I can also answer a few questions....
I don't know any fun things to do with milk powder but custard powder is highly explosive (don't try it at home) because it contains a lot of energy packed up in all the sugar. You might be able to watch your teacher explode it some time if she's feeling brave!
Cornflour (mixed in water) is also very interesting as when it is hit hard it acts as a solid so you could fill a swimming pool with it and run across it as long as you hit it very hard with your feet. You can have a go if you slap a mixture of it or hit it with a hammer!
We get day and night because of the spinning of the earth, but you will find out lots about that as you get older in school.
Birds fly in a V as it saves energy, just like bikers in a race all try to hide behind another biker as it pulls them along a bit so they don't have to work quite as hard.
Penguins feet don't freeze for many complicated reasons, they divert their blood away from them, they have special chemicals (sort of anti-freeze) in their blood and the way their veins are organised also helps prevent freezing!

Hi! In my class, we are making headdresses to do with the Rio Carnival and the story of Diwali: Ram, Sita, Hanuman and lot's more. There's even an evil king with 10 heads! .... Anyway, when we've finneshed making the headdresses: which includes making the base to go round our heads, decorating it and putting high backing on it, spray paining it and putting on beads and wool and string and so much more, not without mentioning spray painting in gold, we're doing a Diwali dance we learnt earlier on in the week. I'm going to be Sita, the beautiful princess, in the dance and my headdres.!!! I can't wait!!! P.S: I'm waiting to find out what school i'm going to! I can't wait to find out!!! :) Bye!!! G2G!!! 8-)

WELL DONE!!!! To all the staff on a well managed evacuation of the school and to the children especially,You all acted calmly and sensibly during the evacuation today due to a suspected gas leak (17 nov). I've learnt to expect nothing less from such a great bunch of people.

Hello there! The Science club at our school (Cavalry Primary School, March) had a look at your online Science club on Friday!!!

The members of our Sceince club also had some suggestions for you:
Maybe you could put links to some Science games, more things to try at home, more about space and the stars, video clips of your school.

We have made volcanoes with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar ( and rather a lot of red food colouring!) and tested the best material for taking fingerprints. We will put some more of our ideas on your guestbook as we do them. We are also thinking about an investigation that could be carried out on Earth and again in space, and the differences that there might be in the results.

Two of the children have questions for you:
How long have you had the Giant African Land Snails?
Can you do anything fun with milk powder?
